Year 12 business students turned international consultants on Monday 22 May 2017, as they presented their findings on the potential to do business in a range of countries around the world.
On Tuesday 16 May 2017, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance visited the Year 12 assembly to speak about the charity and inform students and staff of some key facts relating to the services that they offer.

In the early hours of Saturday 11 February, fifteen Year 13 students met to travel to Heathrow Airport to start our American adventure. In the week that followed, the group visited two cities, travelled through six states and walked nearly 55 miles.

Today saw the launch of our campaign for our new Student Governors for 2017/2018. Year 12 students listened to a presentation during TP3 which included hearing speeches from Scarlett Perrin and Greg Mansfield, our current Student Governors.
Taylor Golden, Year 13, has been successful in Aberystwyth University’s Entrance Scholarship competition. Taylor achieved a fantastic 100% in his maths exam and 85% in his further maths exam.

On Wednesday 8 February 2017, a group of 33 AS business and economics students visited the New Holland manufacturing plant in Basildon to examine a range of business and economic concepts.
The purpose of the trip was to see a filmed version of the ground-breaking 2011 performance of Jez Butterworth’s Jerusalem starring the amazing Mark Rylance as Johnny “Rooster” Byron.
The sixth form will be having a dress down day on Friday 3 February 2017 to raise money for Hope House, a homeless shelter charity based in Braintree. The money raised for Hope House is in remembrance of Emilia Kordaszewska, a Year 7 student at Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form.
