Over the past month the Sixth Form has been running a series of master classes and taster lessons for Year 10 students from across the partnership.   Students from Tabor Academy visited us for a morning of Science, trying their hand at making aspirin, testing the permeability of cell membranes and working with transistors.

During our language master classes students from Alec Hunter Academy, Notley, Tabor Academy and Ramsey Academy worked in inter-school groups led by some of our bilingual students – experiencing classes in Hungarian, Russian, Italian and Portuguese before spending the afternoon building on their Spanish and French GCSE skills.

BSF also hosted groups of Year 10 students from Ramsey Academy and Alec Hunter Academy for skills days featuring taster lessons and progression advice.  Staff and students have enjoyed working with our visitors and we would like to thank all those staff across the partnership schools who accompanied the students and supported with the organisation of these events.
